Looking Around: a Photo Essay on the Detroit Shoreway Neighborhood

As photographer interested in exploring the way people influence their enviroment and are influenced by it in return, Aaron Kotowski took hundreds of photographs to document the Detroit Shoreway neighborhood of today. He views it as a historical document for the future as well as a reflection of this moment in time.

Kotowski is a professional photographer residing in the Connecticut River valley town of Moodus, Connecticut, and is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology.
