Location

Located on Cleveland’s near west side, the primary project area center around the neighborhood within a five-minute walk of the W.65th/Lorain EcoVIllage Rapid Station.  Near the station, at the heart of the community, is the city-owned Michael J. Zone Recreation Center and 22 acres of surrounding greenspace.  The area has older and newer homes, including some of the city’s finest examples of residential green building.  The area also includes numerous schools, both public and private, as well as after school programs, recreational groups, block clubs, and community gardens.
