City of Cleveland’s
PAINT REFUND PROGRAM

Did you know that you may be eligible to receive free paint from

the City of Cleveland to paint your home?

Neighborhood residents may receive paint and supplies (i.e. paint, primer, scrapers, brushes, rollers, paint trays, caulking, etc.) valued up to $400 which can be used to paint their home, deck, garage, fence, and/or foundation.  Staff can help you chose historically appropriate colors to put the best face forward on your home.  The City of Cleveland Paint Program is administered in Ward 17 by Detroit Shoreway Community Development Organization.  The program runs from May, 2007 to August, 2007.

As an applicant you must:
• Occupy the property which you would like to paint (landlord or tenant).
• Qualify based on an income guideline.
• Not apply more than every three years.
The Paint Refund Program is another way the City of Cleveland supports its residents in maintaining our homes and our neighborhoods. All paint program projects must be completed by September 30th.

VOUCHERS MAY NOT BE USED FOR LABOR.
For more information please call (216) 961-4242 and ask to speak to the Paint Program Coordinator.
