Cleveland Metropolitan School District CEO Eric Gordon will present feedback and data received to guide Long-Term Planning recommendations. This meeting is a follow-up to the public meetings on April 11 and 18 - where our attendance in the Near West region was higher than any other region in the city!
CMSD is reconsidering its facilities plans according to population patterns and the independent Bond Accountability Commission's analysis of enrollment and construction costs.
As a result, construction plans for a new school at Marion Seltzer Elementary and reconstruction plans for Gallagher Elementary may not move forward.
The emerging recommendations now include renovation for Gallagher and new construction for Marion Seltzer but will need board approval. Read them here.
