USA Triathlon National Championships


USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships is returning to Cleveland at Edgewater Park. Athletes will swim in Lake Erie and bike and run along the lake shore. Spectators welcome!

This championship assembles the best age group triathletes from across the United States to compete against their peers for the national title in their respective age groups.

This event is expected to attract over 5,000 participants from all 50 states as well as 17 different countries! The event is a collaboration between USA Triathlon, Greater Cleveland Sports Commission and the City of Cleveland.

Several road closures and traffic modifications will be in place during this event.

From 4:30am to 12pm on both Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 10 and 11, the Shoreway will be closed.  Eastbound Shoreway – Lake/Clifton & West Blvd to Muni Lot Westbound Shoreway – Dead Man’s Curve to Lake/Clifton & West Blvd
